2023 - City of Excellence Award for Underground Infrastructure
Awarded by the BC Municipal Safety Association - Recognizing local governments for activities that improve ground disturbance, safe excavation techniques and best practice at or around underground infrastructure.
2023 - Innovative Safety Solution Award
Awarded by the BC Municipal Safety Association to organizations that have achieved success addressing challenges in health and safety with a new or novel approach.
2023 - Organizational Safety Award
Awarded by the BC Municipal Safety Association in recognition of improving experience ratings and ultimately reducing injuries, illness, disease and fatalities.
2022 - Organizational Safety Excellence Award
Awarded from the BC Municipal Safety Association (BCMSA). The award recognizes that the City of Abbotsford has had a significant reduction in work-related incidents and a decrease in WorkSafe BC Experience rating.
2022 National Public Relations Award from the Canadian Public Relations Society
Awarded silver for Best Use of Media Relations – Small Budget (less than $10,000 CAD) for public relations respond during the flooding emergency in November 2021

A Certificate of Recognition (COR) is awarded to employers who develop health and safety programs that meet established standards. A COR shows that the employer's health and safety management system has been evaluated by a certified auditor.

Awarded by the Fraser Valley Cultural Diversity Awards for the Community Hub, providing respectful delivery of integrated health, housing and social supports for vulnerable populations.
2018 - Transportation Project of the Year
Awarded for the Transportation and Transit Master Plan by the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers.
