Childcare is available at the Abbotsford Recreation Centre for ages 6 months to 12 years. Parents/Guardians must remain in the facility at all times. Childminding is not available on Statutory holidays and long weekends. Childminding limits are in effect and can be reserved up to 25 hours in advance. Schedule is subject to change based on attendance levels.

We offer a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and yearly rec pass which allows patrons full access to both Abbotsford Recreation Centre and Matsqui Recreation Centre. Once you register for a Rec Pass you will be issued a card with your photo ID on it. When you visit a facility you can scan in and enjoy unlimited use. We also offer 10 and 20 session passes for discounted use. Prices are listed above in the Facility Admission Rates.
Pre-Authorized Payment Plan program
Is an optional payment plan, which provides an opportunity to make monthly payments for City of Abbotsford Annual Passes. Enjoy the convenience of monthly pass payments at our annual rates. All for no additional fees. Ask a Customer Service Representative about our Annual Pass Payment Plan Option or fill out the information and drop it off to Matsqui Recreation Centre or Abbotsford Recreation Centre.

For a fee of $25 per year you can enjoy the many activities that the 55+ Activity Centres have to offer. Please note that access to activities and programs outside of regular programming time are not included in the pass.

- Skate sharpening is available during public skate times for $6.90.
- Skate rentals are available for $3.70 at both Abbotsford Recreation Centre and Matsqui Recreation Centre. We offer both figure skates and hockey skates.
- We offer a limited amount of Helmet rentals for $2.50

Gift cards are available at Abbotsford or Matsqui Recreation Centres and the Parks, Recreation & Culture Office at City Hall. Gift Cards are a great way to give the Gift of Recreation and we have lots of varieties for all occasions. They are simple and easy to use and can be redeemed for:
- Rec Passes
- Admissions
- Programs
Use of this Gift Card constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Present this Gift Card as payment towards any Abbotsford Parks, Recreation & Culture program or service. Gift Cards cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash. If your Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without authorization it cannot be replaced. This Gift Card has no expiry date. Purchase amount will be deducted from the unused balance remaining on the Gift Card, with any excess purchase price payable at time of purchase. For gift card balance information, please inquire with the Abbotsford Recreation Centre or Matsqui Recreation Centre.

- To request a withdrawal from a program or course, please email cancellation@abbotsford.ca
- Program cancellations will be allowed until the following time periods and are subject to a $5 administration fee:
- Reservation for Drop-In Sessions 1 Hour prior to the start of the session
- Registered Programs 24 Hours prior to the start of the program
- Camps 72 Hours prior to the start of the program
- Beyond the Bell 72 Hours prior to the start of the session
- Birthday Parties 1 Week prior to the start of the program
- Adult Bus Tours 1 Week prior to the start of the program
- Play & Learn 15 Days prior to the start of the next month
- Membership cancellations require the completion of a written request form. Please allow 5 days for processing. Memberships on payment plans must be requested 5 days prior to your next scheduled payment date to ensure no charges for the proceeding month.
Transferring registration or sessions are not permitted. If you cannot make your session or course, please call or email cancellation@abbotsford.ca. After these time periods, refunds will only be provided for medical reasons. A written request or medical certificate may be required. Refunds may be pro-rated. For all refunds, please allow 2 weeks for a refund cheque. No administration fee will be charged for cancellations resulting from a cancelled or changed program
