The City of Abbotsford offers funding through several grant streams to support diverse and vibrant arts and culture experiences for residents to enjoy.
Neighbourhood Small Grant
The City of Abbotsford partners with the Vancouver Community Foundation and the Abbotsford Community Foundation to provide the Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) program. The NSG program funds small-scale projects and activities that engage residents in their neighborhood. Successful applicants will be awarded a grant of up to $1000 to help bring their community projects to life.

Significant Event Grant
The City of Abbotsford awards in-kind grants to Abbotsford-based non-profit groups who can demonstrate that their community event can provide significant economic benefits and/or community pride. Events must be held in the City of Abbotsford and have an attendance of over 1,000 people. Groups must apply each year and grants must be used to offset direct City costs including facility rentals, field rentals, staffing, equipment, and supplies.
Events that meet the grant criteria and use one of the following are eligible to apply for funding: City equipment, City supplies, City staff support, or, City indoor or outdoor event rental space. Organizations may receive a maximum In-Kind Grant of $4,000 per calendar year. Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted. Applications are open from January 1 to April 30 each year.
