Simon Gibson was elected as an Abbotsford City Councillor in 2022.

Simon returns to Council after serving two terms as an area Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). He previously served on Abbotsford Council for three decades. Simon taught at the University of the Fraser Valley and Trinity Western University in business, communications and leadership.

He runs regularly and also enjoys gourmet cooking, travel, creative writing, reading, long distance running, cycling, and automobile literature.
