ABBOTSFORD, BC – September 3, 2021 – The Matsqui Recreation Centre (MRC) pool will be closed for bi-annual maintenance from September 7 to 26, reopening on September 27. The weight room will also be temporarily closed during this time. The MRC Arena programs, the Abbotsford Youth Commission Youth Centre, and Oasis Physiotherapy will remain open.
Community members are encouraged to visit the Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC) during this time. ARC is located on the #2 and #9 bus routes. ARC hours of operations include:
- Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Holiday Hours (Stats not including Christmas) 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Community members can visit www.direct2rec.com to access fitness, aquatics and room booking options at ARC. While ARC and its users are subject to current Public Health Orders, we expect there to be plenty of capacity to the support community members wishing to access services.
