The goal of the Economic Development department is to create an environment where entrepreneurs and businesses can grow and flourish. We support Abbotsford businesses with growth and expansion, attract new businesses to the community, facilitate filming, and create partnerships between local businesses and City programs that benefit our community. Our department collaborates with industry associations, economic development partners and First Nations to solve regional issues and create regional opportunities. We are ambassadors for business development and vibrant economic growth in our city, and celebrate the quality of life that turns visitors into residents.
