Clearbrook Waterworks has issued a Boil Water Notice

The Clearbrook Waterworks District has issued a boil water notice as E.coli bacteria was found in their water supply on November 7, 2024. 

This notice ONLY applies to customers who receive their water from Clearbrook Waterworks District as indicated in the map below, and not to customers who receive their water from the Abbotsford/Mission Water and Sewer Commission.

Residents who access their water supply from Clearbrook Waterworks District should note the following:

  • Do not drink the water without boiling first or otherwise treating the water.
  • Boil water for 1 minute (rolling boil). Preferably use a kettle so as to reduce the risk of burns. Let it COOL before using. 
  • You can choose to use bottled water. 
  • Note that boiled or bottled water should be used for DRINKING, COOKING, BRUSHING TEETH, WASHING READY TO EAT FOODS, AND WASHING DISHES. 
  • Store water in sanitary containers and keep refrigerated.
